Hooray! Look What Jill Made!

Thank you so much to Jill Cornell for being my second August Guest Designer!
Poor Jill rushed to get her projects completed for me while caring for twin baby girls and then I am the one holding things up with my life being all chaotic lately!
Jill is definitely worth the wait and I know you will love getting to know this darling lady and seeing her creations!

Here's more from Jill in her own words:

1) My name is Jill Cornell and I live in Windsor Heights, Iowa, which is a suburb of Des Moines. I grew up in a tiny town of 1,000 about an hour west of where I live now. I have two younger sisters who are my best friends! I have been married to my husband, Glen, for 6 years. This past May we experienced the joy of the birth and adoption of our twin daughters, Nora and Lily, who are now almost 4 months old. Our house is crazy busy now but I absolutely love being a mommy! I have a degree in communications but for now am enjoying being a stay-at-home mom.

2) I have always been a fairly "crafty" person but didn't officially start scrapbooking until soon after I got married. My love for the hobby exploded and I went crazy buying supplies and soon turned a spare room in our house into my craft room. I just started scrapbooking my twin girls and it's been fun to experience another dimension of scrapbooking.

3) I'm always inspired by a sketch or new supplies to work with. I also look for inspiration in my daily life. It might be an experience I have or an article in a magazine but I'm always jotting down ideas.

4) I think the "down side" of papercrafting might be balancing time or getting into a creative slump. There are times where I just don't craft for a while because I'm not feeling it. I think a break like that is good for the soul. It usually gets to a point where I need to be creative again! The best part of papercrafting is capturing those memories! I'm definitely a sentimental person and I hope my daughters appreciate someday that I took the time to acknowledge our lives and experiences in a creative way.

5) Hmmm...that's a tough question! Last summer, my husband and I took a trip to Disney World. It was my first time there and I definitely got caught up in the magic of the place. I absolutely loved seeing all the little girls dressed up as their favorite Disney princess. At that point, it made me long for a daughter of my own and that I would get to experience seeing Disney through her eyes. Little did I know that I would be doubly blessed with two girls! I've already told Glen as soon as the girls are old enough we are definitely going to Disney with them so they can dress up as Disney princesses. Of course, I would create a scrapbook to capture our trip!

Here are a few pics of the kit I sent to Jill to play with:
